Guarana – the Fat Burner

Guarana (pronounced gwa-ra-NAH i.e. with the accent on the last syllable) is a plant that grows naturally in the Amazon basin of South America, especially commonly in Brazil and Venezuela. The plant has large leaves and clusters of flowers, and has a creeping or climbing habit. The guarana fruit’s colour ranges from brown to red and contains black seeds.
